Prior to joining Esp, Kreuzer, Cores & McLaughlin, Ed worked at a prominent Chicago Civil Rights firm where he assisted in the defense of county employees accused of constitutional deprivations, torts and professional malpractice, and he was appointed a Cook County Special Assistant State's Attorney. He also represented clients in a diverse array of civil litigation and was responsible for drafting briefs in several state and federal appeals. One of his Illinois Supreme Court briefs received favorable coverage as the lead story of the July 14, 2006 Chicago Daily Law Bulletin. Ed is our primary associate responsible for the litigation of contested estate matters and obtaining court appointed guardianships for the caregivers of disabled adults and minor children. Ed has been recognized for his work as a court appointed guardian ad litem with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services. Prior to attending law school Ed was executive recruiter in the information technology industry.
